Bio:

I grew up in Cleveland. I moved to New York City to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a paralegal.

I started playing tenor banjo in college. I tune it like a guitar because the other way is harder.

In 2001, I started my first band, The Whisky Rebellion, with some of my friends from college. I started writing songs in 2002 after a girl told me no one likes cover bands.

In 2004, I started thinking up cool names for shows (The Brooklyn Country Music Festival, The Johnny Cash Birthday Bash, The CasHank Hootenanny Jamboree, The New York City Opry) and then putting those shows on. I stopped doing this in 2010.

Over the years, I've played solo, with The Whisky Rebellion, and with Banjorama!

I am currently working on making a record of my songs.
