Fields agreed that this would be a fun topic to explore. upending the conventions of stoic, range-riding masculinity with winking, queer flirtation.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/world-cafe\/2020\/04\/30\/848253482\/a-roundup-of-compelling-new-nashville-music-to-cure-the-quarantine-blues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut ultimately the varied sonic palette Fields is exploring here is what makes Electric Park Ballroom an exciting listen, from the theatrical piano bar drive of the near-disco cut \u201cShuffling Fool\u201d to the fiercely witty murder ballad \u201cTime\u2019s Up, Brad.\u201d Highlights include the triumphant, live-or-die nature of \u201cThunder Road\u201d (which does the namesake proud) and there is a hooky pop punk stomp to \u201cWinter Night.\u201d There hasn\u2019t been a shortage of fascinating, exciting under-the-radar country artists over the last several years, and Fields should unquestionably be on any list of performers helping to redefine the genre.\u201d &#8211;
