Down the steps to a basement in the East Village, through thronging crowds of hungry Friday night flesh, grab a drink at the bar and take a left, where the cat collective munches pretzels and applauds string-driven storytelling at The Sugar Mountain Showcase, musician Peter Arvo’s regular showcase of folk music.

We’re very excited to be returning to the Bell House this year for the Johnny Cash 81st Birthday Bash. This show has been sold out every year since its inception in 2005, so please buy your tickets in advance. We’ll have the whole crew in place, featuring The Old Perfesser on guitar, Shaky Dave on Harmonica, Kari on the fiddle, Sammo on the guitars, Charlie on the drums and Tina on the bass.
